Angka 1–10 dan nomor telepon Numbers 1–10 and phone numbers

No new grammar — learn the first ten numbers and use "berapa" to ask. Phone numbers are read DIGIT BY DIGIT: 0812 is "nol – delapan – satu – dua", not joined. When counting people, the number comes BEFORE the measure word "orang": empat orang, dua orang. Note: "se-" = one (sepuluh, seratus, seribu — taught fully next chapter).

  • Nomor teleponmu berapa? What is your phone number?
  • Nomor telepon saya nol – delapan – satu – tiga – lima. My phone number is 0 8 1 3 5.
