- 林雪 坐飞机太累了, 我们终于到酒店了. The flight was exhausting — we're finally at the hotel.
- 王明 我也是. 我们去请服务员帮个忙. Me too. Let's go ask the staff for help.
- 服务员 你们好, 已经订房间了吗? Hello — have you booked a room?
- 林雪 已经订了, 我们的名字在这里. Already booked — our names are here.
- 服务员 好. 你们的房间在三楼, 这是钥匙. OK. Your room is on the 3rd floor — here is the key.
- 王明 电梯在哪里? Where is the elevator?

数量补语: 动作 + 了 + 时长 + 了 — 间隔 (三52) Quantity complement: time elapsed since an action (三52)
动作 + 了 + 时长 + 了 表示"从动作发生到现在过了多久". 我们到酒店两个小时了 = 到酒店这件事发生在两小时前, 一直到现在. 他来中国三个月了 = 来了三个月. 注意句末的 了 不能省 — 它说明"一直到现在". 这和二级的"V+了+时长 (做了多久)"不同: 那是动作持续的时间, 这是动作之后的间隔.
`Action + 了 + duration + 了` marks the time ELAPSED since the action happened. 我们到酒店两个小时了 = arriving happened two hours ago, up to now. 他来中国三个月了 = it's been three months since he came. The sentence-final 了 is required (= "up to now"). Differs from Band 2's V+了+duration (how long the action lasted) — this is the gap AFTER the action.
- 我们到酒店两个小时了. Wǒmen dào jiǔdiàn liǎng ge xiǎoshí le. It's been two hours since we got to the hotel.
- 他来中国三个月了. Tā lái Zhōngguó sān ge yuè le. It's been three months since he came to China.
- 我起床一个小时了. Wǒ qǐchuáng yí ge xiǎoshí le. I've been up for an hour.
- 这家店开了五年了. Zhè jiā diàn kāi le wǔ nián le. This shop has been open five years.

动宾离合词 (三05) Verb-object separable words (三05)
有些词看起来是一个词, 其实是"动词 + 宾语"结构, 中间可以分开插入别的成分 — 叫离合词. 帮忙 → 帮我的忙; 看病 → 看一次病; 上课 → 上三节课; 请假 → 请一天假. 加 了 / 量词 / 的 时, 要插在动词和宾语中间, 不能放在整个词后面: 说"睡了觉"不说"睡觉了"(表完成时). 在生活里常用: 他帮了我的忙 / 我看了一次病.
Some words look single but are really "verb + object" and can SPLIT to insert other elements — separable words. 帮忙 → 帮我的忙 (do someone a favour); 看病 → 看一次病; 上课 → 上三节课; 请假 → 请一天假. 了 / measure words / 的 go BETWEEN the verb and object, not after the whole word. Common in daily life: 他帮了我的忙 / 我看了一次病.
- 他帮了我的忙. Tā bāng le wǒ de máng. He helped me out.
- 我去看了一次病. Wǒ qù kàn le yí cì bìng. I went to see a doctor once.
- 我们今天上了三节课. Wǒmen jīntiān shàng le sān jié kè. We had three classes today.
- 他想请一天假. Tā xiǎng qǐng yì tiān jià. He wants to take a day off.
