希望 + 主谓短语 — 表达期望 (三44, 复用) 希望 + clause — expressing hopes (三44, reuse)
希望 后面跟一个完整的"主语 + 谓语"作宾语, 表达对未来的期望. 我希望五年后有自己的工作 (五年后有自己的工作 = 整件事). 我希望大家都健康. 这是三级"主谓短语作宾语"的典型用法, 谈将来时常用.
希望 takes a full "subject + predicate" clause as object, voicing a hope for the future. 我希望五年后有自己的工作 (the whole situation is the object). 我希望大家都健康. A classic Band 3 "clause as object", common when talking about the future.
- 我希望五年后有自己的工作. Wǒ xīwàng wǔ nián hòu yǒu zìjǐ de gōngzuò. I hope to have my own job in five years.

要是 … , 就 … — 假设未来 (三69, 复用) 要是 … , 就 … — hypothesising the future (三69, reuse)
上一课 (grammar-01) 表达希望. 本课复习 ch38 的"要是 X, 就 Y", 用来假设五年后的情况: 要是五年后我成功了, 就回来看大家. "要是"提出一个假设, "就"接结果. 谈未来计划和愿望时很自然.
Grammar-01 voiced hopes. This revisits ch38's "要是 X, 就 Y" to hypothesise five years out: 要是五年后我成功了, 就回来看大家. 要是 sets up an assumption, 就 gives the result — natural for future plans and wishes.
- 要是五年后我成功了, 就回来看大家. Yàoshi wǔ nián hòu wǒ chénggōng le, jiù huílái kàn dàjiā. If I succeed in five years, I'll come back to see everyone.
- 要是有机会, 我就出国学习. Yàoshi yǒu jīhuì, wǒ jiù chū guó xuéxí. If I get the chance, I'll study abroad.
