- 教室里有五六个人. Jiàoshì li yǒu wǔ liù ge rén. There are five or six people in the room.
- 八点左右我就到. Bā diǎn zuǒyòu wǒ jiù dào. I'll arrive around eight.

上一课 (grammar-01) 说概数. 本课用"也…也…"把两个并列的情况放在一起, 表示"两方面都是这样". 成绩也好, 心情也好. 篮球他喜欢, 排球他也喜欢. 两个分句结构相同, 语气平列.
Grammar-01 was approximate numbers. Here "也…也…" places two parallel facts together: "both are so". 成绩也好, 心情也好 (grades good, mood good too). 篮球他喜欢, 排球他也喜欢. The two clauses are parallel in structure.
- 成绩也好, 心情也好. Chéngjì yě hǎo, xīnqíng yě hǎo. Grades are good, and so is the mood.
- 篮球他喜欢, 排球他也喜欢. Lánqiú tā xǐhuān, páiqiú tā yě xǐhuān. He likes basketball, and volleyball too.
- 我也累, 也饿. Wǒ yě lèi, yě è. I'm both tired and hungry.
- 这个菜也好吃, 也便宜. Zhè ge cài yě hǎochī, yě piányi. This dish is both tasty and cheap.
