V + 起来 — 动作开始 V + 起来 — starting up an action
动词 + 起来 表示"动作开始 (并继续)". 我复习起来 / 他笑起来 / 雨下起来了. 这里 起来 不是"站起来"的方向意义, 是"开始 + 进行"的体貌意义. 句末加 了 表示"开始的新情况": 笑起来了. 否定: 没 + V + 起来. 注意宾语放在 起 和 来 之间, 或 起来 之后, 视情况: 背起来生词 / 背起生词来 (前者更常). 区分: V + 起来 (动作开始) vs 看 / 听 + 起来 (感官判断, 下一课).
`V + 起来` marks "the action begins (and continues)". 复习起来 / 笑起来 / 雨下起来了. The 起来 here is aspectual (start + continue), not directional. Sentence-final 了 announces the change. Negate: 没 + V + 起来. Objects often split: 背起来生词 / 背起生词来. Reserve the sensory use of 看/听 + 起来 for grammar-02.

上一课 (grammar-01) 的 V + 起来 是"动作开始". 本课的 看起来 / 听起来 + 形容词 / 句子 是固定结构: 表示"从外表 / 声音判断 X 是 …": 你看起来很认真 / 听起来很有意思. 跟说话人的眼睛 / 耳朵判断有关, 不是真实情况的肯定. 否定: 看起来不 + X / 听起来不像 + X. 也可以接句子: 看起来今天会下雨 (从天空判断). 类似还有 闻起来 / 吃起来 / 看上去 (近义).
Grammar-01: V + 起来 starts an action. `看起来 / 听起来 + adj / clause` is a fixed shape — "looks / sounds X" (judgement from senses, not a hard fact). 你看起来很认真. Negate as 看起来不 + X / 听起来不像 + X. Also takes full clauses: 看起来今天会下雨. Cousins: 闻起来 / 吃起来 / 看上去.
- 你看起来很认真. Nǐ kàn qǐlái hěn rènzhēn. You look serious.
