식당에서 At the restaurant

목적어 "을/를"과 "주세요" The object "을/를" and "주세요"
목적어(먹거나 마시는 대상) 뒤에는 "을/를"을 붙여요. 규칙은 간단해요: 그 단어에 받침이 있으면 "을"(밥을, 빵을), 받침이 없으면 "를"(커피를, 우유를). 그래서 "밥을 먹어요", "커피를 마셔요". 식당에서 정중하게 부탁할 때는 명사 + "주세요"(please give me): 물 주세요, 메뉴 주세요. (부탁에서는 "을/를"을 자주 생략해요.) 영어권 학습자는 받침이 있는 단어에 "를"을 붙이는 실수를 자주 해요 — "밥를" ✗, "밥을" ✓.
