The days of the week
ON — I have class on Monday, on the weekend. AT(at nine, at night), IN(in the morning, in July). 새 단어: day, week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, today, tomorrow, weekend.
Dialogue
at Monday or on Monday? — at Monday일까 on Monday일까?
- Emma Minsu, when do you have class?
- Minsu I have class at Monday. (실수: 요일엔 "at"이 아니라 "on" — "on Monday")
- Emma With days, use "on": on Monday. 요일엔 "on"을 써요: on Monday.
- Minsu Oh, I have class on Monday and Wednesday.
Dialogue
The weekend — 주말
- Jack Emma, what day is it today?
- Emma Today is Friday. Tomorrow is the weekend.
- Jack Great! Do you have class on Saturday?
- Emma No, on Saturday and Sunday I don't have class.

Grammar
The days and "on Monday" 요일과 "on Monday"
The days of the week always take a capital letter: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The key rule is the preposition of time. Use ON for days: I have class on Monday, I rest on the weekend. Use AT for clock times and night: at nine, at night. Use IN for parts of the day and months: in the morning, in the afternoon, in July. A common mistake is "at Monday" or "in Monday" — with days it is always ON. To ask the day: What day is it today? — Today is Wednesday.
