เบอร์โทรอะไร What's the phone number?
Numbers 1 to 10: nʉ̀ŋ, sɔ̌ɔŋ, sǎam, sìi, hâa, hòk, cèt, pɛ̀ɛt, kâo, sìp. Phone numbers are read digit by digit (not as one big number). Ask with "àrai": Bəə thoo àrai. New words: number, telephone. Reading corner: the number words and the Thai digits ๐๑๒๓๔๕๖๗๘๙.

เรียนตัวเลขสิบตัวแรกและใช้ "อะไร" ถาม. เบอร์โทรศัพท์อ่าน "ทีละตัวเลข": เบอร์ 081 อ่านว่า "ศูนย์ – แปด – หนึ่ง" ไม่รวมเป็น "แปดสิบเอ็ด". เวลานับสิ่งของหรือคน ตัวเลขอยู่หลังนาม แล้วตามด้วยลักษณนาม: คนสองคน, แต่ตอบเบอร์ใช้ตัวเลขเรียงกัน. ("ศูนย์" = zero เรียนเต็มในบทหน้า).
Learn the first ten numbers and use "àrai" to ask. Phone numbers are read DIGIT BY DIGIT: 081 is "sǔun – pɛ̀ɛt – nʉ̀ŋ", not "eighty-one". When counting things or people, the number follows the noun and is followed by a classifier: khon sɔ̌ɔŋ khon. ("sǔun" = zero is taught fully next chapter.)
