It's on the table C'est sur la table
Apprends les prépositions de lieu in (dans), on (sur), under (sous). Les prépositions anglaises se placent devant le nom : on the table, in the bag, under the chair. Prepositions of place: in, on, under Prépositions de lieu : in, on, under
To say where something is, use in, on, or under before the noun: in the bag, on the table, under the chair. "in" = inside, "on" = touching the top, "under" = below. The preposition comes first, then the noun — English puts the place word before the thing. With "be", you get: It is on the table. The cat is under the chair. The pen is in the bag. Note: in many languages the place marker follows the noun, but in English it leads.
Pour dire où se trouve quelque chose, utilise in, on, under devant le nom : in the bag, on the table, under the chair. « in » = à l'intérieur, « on » = en contact avec le dessus, « under » = en dessous. La préposition vient d'abord, puis le nom — l'anglais place le mot de lieu avant la chose. Avec « be » : It is on the table. The cat is under the chair. The pen is in the bag.
