ไหม — คำถามใช่/ไม่ใช่ ไหม — preguntas de sí/no
เติม ไหม (mǎi) ท้ายประโยคบอกเล่าก็ได้คำถามใช่/ไม่ใช่ ลำดับคำไม่เปลี่ยน ต่างจากภาษาอังกฤษ: "คุณสบายดี" → "คุณสบายดีไหม". การตอบ: พูดคำเดิมซ้ำ (สบายดี = yes) หรือ ไม่ + คำนั้น (ไม่สบายดี = no); ถ้าเป็นการยืนยันเรื่องตัวตน ตอบ ใช่ / ไม่ใช่. คำลงท้าย ครับ/ค่ะ ยังตามหลัง ไหม เสมอ
Añade ไหม (mǎi) al final de una afirmación y se vuelve una pregunta de sí/no. El orden no cambia, a diferencia del inglés: "khun sabaaidii" → "khun sabaaidii mǎi". Para responder: repite la palabra (สบายดี = sí) o ไม่ + la palabra (ไม่สบายดี = no); para confirmar la identidad, responde ใช่ / ไม่ใช่. La partícula cortés ครับ/ค่ะ sigue yendo siempre después de ไหม.
