定语 — A 的 + B Épithète — A 的 B

"A 的 + B" 中, A 修饰 B. 例: 我的书 (my book), 中国的菜 (Chinese food). 也用于 location: 桌子的旁边 = 桌子旁边. 一般在固定的"X 的 Y"短语里, 的不一定写出: 我妈妈 / 中国朋友也行.

A 的 B = « le B de A ». 我的书 (« mon livre ») ; 中国的菜 (« la cuisine chinoise »). Pareil pour les lieux : 桌子的旁边 = 桌子旁边. Dans les composés figés, 的 peut tomber : 我妈妈 / 中国朋友 conviennent aussi.
